The relationships that have rapidly developed between the private sector and Govt, aka the ‘revolving door’, are leading to a global situation where the de-democratizing of democracy is being normalized, corporate lobbying embodies the rampant corruption we see devastating the world as politicians are ignoring their own citizens interests in pursuit of the most lucrative line of business, between the private sector and governance itself, this entails “any deliberate firm action intended to influence governmental policy or process”. Representative democracy has been replaced with a “corporate society”, collective sovereignty (which is people power) has been replaced with corporate sovereignty (which is capitalist power).
