No callers this time no stories 2026

No callers this time no stories 2026 – 185 x 145cm, acrylic paint, spray paint, and oil on canvas.

The silence after. No one at the door, nothing to report, nothing that needs telling.

And yet the forms keep coming, proliferating, sprawling, breaking apart and reassembling in the dark. Life doesn’t wait for an audience. It generates, ramifies, sends up shoots and vessels and strange deep-field bodies regardless of whether anyone is there to witness or narrate.

The roots below hold the whole excess in place. Underground, quiet, doing the work that never gets a story told about it.

No callers. No stories. Just this: the unstoppable fact of growth, in the silence, in the dark, whether anyone comes or not.
