Hydrogen, is not a green energy source which is why it is beloved by the fossil fuel industry since much of it is extracted from natural gas. While truly green hydrogen may have a limited role in hard-to-decarbonize sectors, visions of a sprawling hydrogen economy are a dangerous myth.
