The consumer-citizen in an SEZ is a sovereign individual who desires maximum capital gains at the cost of public services and Big Govt interventionism, SEZs install private legal laws to realize this. Jacob Rees-Mogg’s proposed restructuring of state sovereignty entails changing it to corporate sovereignty, which means state sovereignty becomes a commercial asset for the investor classes, by selling ‘regulatory packages’ to consumers who can opt in or out of the SEZ.
